Through the Banks of the Red Cedar covers Michigan State's Underground Railroad teams

Maya Washington, daughter of Gene Washington,'s Michigan State two-time All-American wide receiver and College Football Hall of Famer, continues to seek funding to complete her documentary on Michigan State's leading role in the integration of college football. Washington was recruited out of La Porte, Texas, aboard Michigan State coach Duffy Daugherty's Underground Railroad. 

The documentary is titled "Through the Banks of the Red Cedar."
