t’s easier to yell at a college quarterback named Tommy than a 24-year-old quarterback coach who goes by Tom. That distinction should allow the new Notre Dame quarterback coach to help his pupils grow.

Tommy Rees was the Notre Dame QB from 2010 to 2013. He endured tongue-lashings that turned Brian Kelly’s face beet red, especially his first couple seasons as the new head coach in South Bend. ...
