Arizona outfielder's pair of two RBI games keep Wildcats alive

Arizona’s big bat in the College Worlds Series is wielded by a former walk-on who arrived in Omaha, Neb., batting .236. That normally should have found Jared Oliva a place on the bench next to head coach Jay Johnson.

That’s especially true since Johnson is a first-year head coach and has less background on Oliva. But Johnson had a hunch and started the third-year sophomore centerfielder against Miami in the CWS opener. ...
