North Carolina and NC State step back in recruiting

It’s easy to judge the best recruiting class in the ACC with scouting services devoted to the year-round task of rating players as our guide. Florida State claims the top spot according to all three major services, with 247sports.com ranking the Seminoles No. 2, Scout.com No. 3 and Rivals.com No. 2.

That kind of consistency is impressive. It’s a credit to Florida State defying projections for a down year in 2015 by finishing with a 10-3 record despite a loss to Houston in the Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl. ...
