If Phil Jackson were around Raleigh these days, he’d have posted a Twitter message that read, “you don’t change the spot on a leopard.”

North Carolina State’s 88-58 humiliation at Wake Forest on Saturday has confirmed this is all but a lost season. The Wolfpack dropped to 14-12 overall and 3-10 in ACC play. The only team N.C. State leads in the 15-team league is Boston College (9-16, 2-10). ....
