North Carolina State sometimes looks like a team that can beat anybody in the ACC. But the Wolfpack also can get beaten by any team in the conference as it seeks consistency.

N.C. State routed No. 21-ranked Virginia Tech 104-78 behind a triple double from Dennis Smith (27 points, 11 rebounds, 11 assists) on Wednesday night at PNC Arena. The dominating performance was just four days after it lost by 22 points at Miami
