GREENVILLE, N.C. – The better Christian Matau plays this year, the more the East Carolina center will need to study Polynesian football history.

He was named to the watch list for the Polynesian Football Player of the Year Award that is named Dec. 7 and presented Jan. 20 at the Polynesian Football Hall of Fame on Enshrinement Weekend in Hawaii. ...
