Duke needs healthy Jefferson more than Allen

Blue Devils lack strong inside play without Jefferson in lineup

Back in July, few Duke fans would have viewed power forward Amile Jefferson as more valuable to the Blue Devils than shooting guard Grayson Allen.

Allen was the 2015 Final Four super-sub who followed up a national championship season by leading the Blue Devils in scoring in 2016 with 21.6 points a game. Jefferson was a secondary option in 2015 and missed the final 27 games of last season with a broken bone in his foot. ...
