Army entered its recent Black and Gold spring game hoping to develop an outside threat from its young and promising slotbacks. The results included a 61-yard touchdown run by rising sophomore Kell Walker.

While the slot backs commanded attention, fourth-year head coach Jeff Monken and offensive coordinator Brent Davis threw in a wrinkle to the triple-option offense they brought from Georgia Southern. ...
