A fun afternoon on The Drive with Jack

Thanks to Jack Ebling for having a guest co-host for Lansing sports talk show

Thanks to Jack Ebling for having me as a guest host on his popular sports talk show in Lansing, Mich.: "The Drive with Jack."

We talked about this weekend's Michigan State Hall of Fame festivities that features Jimmy Raye's enshrinement. Raye and the five member Class of 2018 are inducted Thursday and recognized Saturday when Michigan State plays Central Michigan at noon Saturday at Spartan Stadium.

The book "Raye of Light" is about Jimmy Raye, the South's first black quarterback to win a national title and his pioneering coaching career; Duffy Daugherty's Underground Railroad that recruited the segregated South and led the integration of college football; and the passengers that included College Football Hall of Famers and others that weren't stars but were grateful for their college opportunity and degree.
